Sutton Coldfield firefighters fly to Japan to aid tsunami rescue mission
Two Sutton Coldfield fire fighters are part of the UK team sent to Japan following the devastating earthquake and tsunami.
Pete Mills, from the Bickenhill station, and Paul Burnham,based at West Midlands Fire Service headquarters in Birmingham, are part of a team of 63.
An initial assessment showed there were a number of large buildings damaged but still standing that may still house survivors. The search dogs will be used to detect signs of life over the large areas involved.
